Hello on this terrific Thursday! Well, it's terrific if you like it hot! Here in NY we are going on day five of temperatures in the high 90's and sometimes over 100. Don't get me wrong, I love the summer and warm weather, but I think my brain is starting to melt a little!
As you can see my melting brain couldn't shift off of yesterday's stamp set. That's OK; I really love this stamp set and wanted to try out the two-step blossoms in different color combinations. I used many of the same ingredients as yesterday in different colors, resulting in a totally different feel. Today I stamped the blossoms in Pool Party and Coastal Cabana, and the stems in Pear Pizzazz. I love this color combo!
The inspiration for the layout came from Mojo Monday. The basic layout is there but I had to make a couple minor adjustments. My embellishment moved to the right corner as opposed to the left to accommodate my flowers, and my center panel stretched down a bit for the same reason.
Yum, yum... I could just eat these colors up, and the embellishments too! The In-Color Boutique Details are so much fun. You only need a glue dot to adhere them. The ruffled ribbon is very light-weight and surprisingly easy to work with. I had to have it in all five colors!
