Paper Pumpkin and Mojo Monday 300

Greetings, friends! So how's the weather by you? I read a bunch of blogs I follow yesterday, and  there were reports of temperatures from 51 to 115 (Fahrenheit). Here on the northeast coast it wandered from cloudy and cool, to sunny and hot, followed by thunderstorms. All in one day. I never know what to wear when I get up in the morning! Crazy.

Loved this sketch at first sight by Julee Tilman at Mojo Monday. And it is a Happy 300th Anniversary (that's challenges, not years!) to Mojo Monday, so why don't you pay them a visit or play along? You'll be awed by the collection of projects using this sketch.

This layout inspired me to do something a little more modern, or freestyle as my younger and more hip friends call it! The square focal piece looked to me like it wanted to be a photo frame, which led me to a box of Paper Pumpkin goodies. The DSP with the triangles and the one with the diagonal stripes comes from the kit. The blue wavy pattern came from a retired package of DSP called Sweet Shop, and I thought they worked perfectly together. The only stamping done here were the two sentiments, one from Petite Pairs and the other from Express Yourself. I love these two greetings together, too.

This is so bright and fun! I like how you layered the different patterned papers and the double sentiment is great!
