Express Yourself, RS72, DD61

Greetings on this marvelous Monday, Stampers! I am happy to report that my DH will be released from the hospital this morning, ahead of schedule as he is doing so well. Yay! That's enough to put me in a good mood for the rest of the day!

I created this project for two challenges, the first being the color challenge at Dynamic DuosThe colors in the retired Fan Fair DSP were perfect for this challenge. I was originally planning on using the Stippled Blossom stamp set, but the blossoms looked kind of washed out in Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand. I eventually decided on using Clay Blossoms instead, and I colored them just a bit with Pink Pirouette ink and a cotton swab.

I was all over the layout at Retro Sketches as soon as I saw it. Flowers and doilies and buttons, oh my! You must check out the creations by Lisa who created the sketch. Fabulous and so inspiring!

OK, I know I went a little crazy with the embellishments here, but hey, why not? I thought they all looked so pretty together on my collage style vintage card! Scroll down to the supply list to see what all the little goodies are.

Love the way you've used the sketch. But I can't take the credit...Arielle draws the sketches!! She based it one of my cards, isn't she a whiz!!!
