Marker Storage for Color Renovation

Greetings, Stampers! I mentioned the other day that I just received a humongous Stampin' Up new catalog order. OK, well maybe I didn't mention that it was humongous but it was. Regardless, every time the Man in Brown arrives with more stuff I am left with the task of re-organizing. So it was that, plus the recent color renovation that inspired me to sort and re-sort my marker collection.

I love storing my marker collections in clear mount stamp cases. Ten markers fit just perfectly into a case. In the past, one of my fellow demonstrators was generous enough to share insert templates she created, which I used and loved. Last night I was inspired to come up with my own, and they couldn't be easier!

All I did was take my new catalog over to my printer and copy each page of the color collections onto regular copy paper. As it turns out, the image of each collection fits just perfectly onto the fronts of these cases. A snip here and a snip there, and I cut out the names of each collection for the binders.

I hope you enjoyed my little storage tip of the day! I'm always on a quest to be better organized, so this little discovery made me quite happy! Sometime soon I'll be sharing other organizational tips, but for now just know that there are lots of awesome storage uses for Stampin' Up stamp cases!

Hi Sandy, I just saw your post for marker storage on Pinterest. It looks great! Only problem is it is now 2015 :-( pictures in the catalog are not nearly as pretty as yours. Any suggestions?
