Kind & Cozy for The Paper Players

Hello there, all! Today's post is bittersweet for me today. I totally enjoyed being a guest designer at The Paper Players over the last six months, but that has come to an end. Really? Where did the time go? I'm so thankful to have had the opportunity to craft with this awesome team. Thank you, Paper Players! So I am back once again but just playing along with the challenge like the rest of ya'll!

Today's challenge is Tic Tac Toe from LeAnne. I love those! So much fun! But I must say that I was not feeling my Mojo when I started this card. I hated everything I began and it took me four tries to come up with something I liked. I'm pretty happy with the end result, which achieves the middle horizontal column: Get Well, Bling and Yellow.

If you were looking for a clean and simple card, you need to change the channel! I kept piling on bits and pieces until I had lots of layers. My favorite element of this card is the embossed panel. I tore a piece of Gingham Garden DSP and adhered it to a panel of Whisper White Card Stock. I ran it through the Big Shot using the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder (one of my faves). After embossed, it is kind of hard to tell where the DSP ends and where the white card stock begins. Love that!

I love this card....this is one of my favorite new sets, although I haven't had time to "play" with it much, and you've paired it with the daunting-to-me Gingham Garden floral....and it is FABBY! I love all your circular elements and your embellishments make it even sweeter! Thanks for playing my Tic-Tac-Toe challenge!!!

Sandy, this sure is gorgeous! I love the pattern mixed with the embossed frame. Just when I thought I didn't need to buy that stamp set, too. Haha! Oh well, what's one more set, right. Thank you so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! Hugs! :)
