Epic Day for Retro Sketches

Greetings, Stampers! I hope you all had a great weekend. I had the most awesome day yesterday. I got up early and went for a nice bike ride along the trail to Jones Beach, which was opened for the first time since it got wiped out from a hurricane last year whose name I shall not mention! Then we went to visit my son in Brooklyn for dinner, and took a ferry ride along the East River where you can see the new Freedom Tower under construction. There is so much to do in New York; I love it here!

OK, enough small talk. Let's get down to crafty business! Last week I said goodbye to some retiring products, and this week I'll be welcoming new ones. Today I am using a new ensemble of products called Epic Day. I love this stuff! This card literally took me 15 minutes to make,  which is good because I was really busy yesterday!

This card was totally inspired by the awesome sketch this week at Retro Sketches. I was inspired immediately!

The DSP and fun new Washi Tape are both called Epic Day This and That. I stamped the chevron design onto some DSP too, using the Oh Hello Stamp Set. The greeting and water spots are from the Paper Pumpkin Welcome Kit. A Hung Up Cute Clip finishes things off.
