Wonderful Mother for The Paper Players

Greetings, Stampers! It's Sunday, yay! My day to sleep late and my day to play with The Paper Players! This week Anne Marie (and remember, it's Anne with an "e"!) has a great theme challenge for us: Happy Mother's Day!  It's only one week away so ink up your stamps in a hurry and play along!

I'm going to be holding a Fancy Folds Technique class tomorrow evening and this is one of the cards we'll be making. It's called a Center Step card. It features several patterns in the beautiful Floral District Designer Series Paper pack, and sentiments from the Wonderful Mother stamp set. Both will be retiring at the end of this month, so get them while you can!

Here's a view of the card from the side so you can see how cool the fold is. It very easily stands on it's own. I found the tutorial for it over at Splitcoast Stampers.

I layered three butterflies cut with the Beautiful Butterflies die atop an oval. The flowers were cut with the Boho Blossoms punch, and a pearl finishes things off. What mom doesn't love butterflies, flowers and pearls?

Here's what the inside of the card looks like. I really love this sentiment, so perfect for a great mom.
