Father's Day Short Front Card

Greetings, Stampers! For those Friday lovers in my midst, a Happy Friday to you! Today I have the third card from my Fancy Folds technique class to share with you. Before I go any further, I must give credit where it is due. This card is totally cased from one of my fellow Stampin' Up demonstrators, Sarah Schueler. I basically replicated her card, but converted the layout to a Short Front card. I just loved the colors she selected, combined with the patterns. What a great masculine card.

A Short Front card is pretty self explanatory: the front is smaller than the back, with a layer that extends to both. The Crumb Cake layer is 5 1/2" x & 7 1/4", and scored and folded at 3". You can figure out the rest from there, and adjust for whatever stamps you want to use. This card features the Dapper Dad and Beyond Plaid Stamp Sets. Both of these sets are from the Stampin' Up Spring catalog and are only available until May 31.

When you open the card, you can still see the layer with the newsprint, and a blank layer left for your personal greeting. Love it!
