Best of Everything for PPA159

Greetings, Stampers! Did you all enjoy a nice three day weekend? I got many things on my to-do list accomplished and I'm happy about that, even if the weather was uncooperative. As always, I set some time aside for some needful stamp therapy, too!

Over the weekend, I was perusing my mountain of about-to-retire stamps and deciding which ones need one last outing before they move to Florida, LOL!  I also have to make a confession. There are one or two stamp sets in this category that have never seen ink. I know, that's a terrible thing, and this set is one of them. Perhaps the images look familiar, and they should. This stamp set was the inspiration for the new artwork on my blog, and once I decided on the artwork I thought I should purchase the stamp set, too. It sat on my shelf until yesterday, and now I want to do so many things with it! Now that I've finally used it I know I'll be holding on to it for a long time.

After I selected a stamp set I went to the world of challenge sites in search of a layout. I haven't played along with Pals Paper Arts in a while, and this seemed liked a perfect sketch for my stamp set. I shifted things around just a tad but the basic sketch is still in my project.

How cute are these images?! I love them! I colored the branch stamp with Chocolate Chip and Lucky Limeade markers and stamped it on to Whisper White card stock. Then, I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to perch the little birdie perfectly on top. The flowers were stamped onto some scraps of paper and cut out by hand.
