Greetings, Stampers! Oh my, I'm running out of time to show you my favorite retiring Stampin' Up products! I had to squeeze my favorite Christmas stamp set in, Beautiful Season. I just adore this lovely chickadee perched in the holly. It looks great watercolored, like I did today, and just as gorgeous stamped in a solid color. Lots of other products used to make today's card are also retiring. Scroll down to the supply list to see which ones.
The inspiration was this simple, beautiful layout by Jen M. at Freshly Made Sketches. The sketch was turned on it's side to accommodate my stamp. I went a little crazy sponging on this card to make it look distressed. I hope it's "clean" enough for the design team!
The image was stamped in Black Stazon Ink and watercolored with an Aqua Painter and Ink Pads. I took this photo from an angle so you can see the sparkly berries, which were done with Dazzling Details. The edges of the watercolored paper were sponged with Crumb Cake ink, as was the background which was embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Oh, how I'm sad to see that Embossing Folder retire!
