Tea Shoppe and Tea for Two

Greetings! It's another chilly and dreary day here in Fort Lauderdale. We've barely seen the sun in days, not what you'd expect for this part of the country. The temperatures were in the 40s last night and I actually had to put an extra blanket on the bed! Hopefully things will warm up a bit before I have to begin the trek back to New York.

I'm still stamping with my limited supplies, but it's been fun. Sometimes I think the fact that I have too many options at home can be overwhelming. The decision making process is a little easier when you only have five stamp sets! So, Tea Shoppe makes another appearance today combined with Tea for Two Designer Series Paper.

In my bag of Very Vanilla scraps, I was fortunate to locate an oval and a panel embossed with the Designer Frame Embossing Folder. I stamped the little flower image in Black Stazon Ink, and then colored it in with classic ink pads and a blender pen. I used a fork to make the perfect little bow, and a glue dot to adhere the button.

Stampin' Up Products Used:

Thanks for visiting, and you would make me smile if you left a comment! It's getting a little lonely here! Thanks!

  2. Love this card! It is fun to work with limited supplies...it challenges you to find creative ways to use the same things in different ways :) I hope your husband is doing better and you will soon be back home.

  3. Really like your card. I have trouble using DSP, so I may have to try and copy this pretty card. We just got back from Tampa last week and I thought it was too warm! Sending wishes for you and your husband and hope he is on the road to recovery and will be home soon. Thanks for sharing.

  5. I love you the little Tea Shoppe card. Spent some time visiting on you site and really enjoyed the lovely neat work you do. I especially loved the quilted cards as they bring back wonderful memories of my Grandmother's lovingly made family quilts. Thanks for sharing your work with us.
