Greetings, Stampers! If you recall, I recently shared the cards that we created in my last technique class, masking. Well, after that class I was inspired to add a new stamp set to my collection, Serene Silhouettes. Silhouettes of any kind look great stamped on top of a masked and sponged background, as I did here. I can't wait to try out all the images and create different backgrounds.
The inspiration came from this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge. The large area was perfect for creating a scene.
In my scrap bag I found a circle that was punched with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch. I used temporary adhesive to attach it to the background, and sponged around the edges with Island Indigo Ink. I did the same thing with a straight piece of paper to create the horizon. I removed the masks, then I stamped the image on top with Black Stazon ink. I sponged around the edges a bit more, and my scene was finished. So easy!
