Lucky Day for The Paper Players

Greetings, and Happy Saint Patrick's Day, Stampers! Are you doing anything 'green' today? Like so many others, I'll be making corned beef and cabbage for dinner, along with all the fixin's. If I have time, maybe I'll make some green cupcakes for desert. I'm wearing my Gumball Green sweater today, too!

As you know, it's Sunday and that means another challenge from The Paper Players! This week, the super talented Ann Schach has a sketch for us to play with. It's also a clean and simple challenge, which is great because I needed to make this card in a flash!

This sketch was perfect to showcase my new Lucky Day single stamp. I purchased it several weeks ago but then went out of town, so this is the first time I'm inking it up. I combined it with a sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set, which is probably my most used stamp set ever. I wanted to 'keep it clean' with lots of white space, but added just a little pattern with a layer of Designer Series Paper from the Print Poetry Stack.

The shamrocks were stamped in Gumball Green Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock and then cut out by hand. A trio of Rhinestones provide sparkly centers. I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to assure the sentiment was properly aligned.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Lucky Day, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Card Stock: Whisper White
Designer Series Paper: Print Poetry
Ink Pads: Gumball Green
Accessories: Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon, Rhinestones

Come visit the rest of the design team over at The Paper Players, and better yet, play along!

Have a lucky day!
