Sending Love for DD38 and CCMC237

Greetings, Stampers, and Happy Monday! Well, for most of us. Those of you who had too much fun at your Super Bowl parties last night are probably in the club that feels Super Bowl Monday should be a national holiday!

I need to finish off my Valentine's Day cards this week and this is one of the cards I came up with. It features a bunch of retired Stampin' Up products.  For some reason, when I pull out one retired product I feel like it gives me license to use more! Either that, or I just start getting all nostalgic. As always, you can CASE it and re-create using supplies you have.

Real Red and Pretty in Pink are the Dynamic Duos colors for this week. They immediately made me think of some Designer Paper I had in my stash. It's called Sending Love and retired in 2010, but I thought it was perfect for this challenge. The background paper is from a stack called Welcome Neighbor that was offered during Sale-A-Bration in 2010. Do they bring back any memories?

All I had left of this paper was the tiniest of scraps, which worked out perfectly for the Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge. I had so many ideas for this sketch and may be using it again.

The greeting is also retired, from a stamp set called Grateful Greetings. The flower was created using the Fancy Flower and Boho Blossom punches and uses a Sending Love Epoxy Brad.

Stampin' Up Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Grateful Greetings (r)
Card Stock: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip
Designer Series Paper: Sending Love (r), Welcome Neighbor (r)
Ink Pads: Real Red
Tools: Fancy Flower and Boho Blossom Punches
Accessories: Sending Love Epoxy Brads (r), Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon

Have a "lovely" day!
