Greetings, Stampers! As I mentioned the other day, there are lots of birthdays on my calendar this month. This card is for another of my nephews who is (obviously) turning 12. I have such a hard time making cards for adolescent males, I'm not sure why. Maybe I need some new stamps (grin)! I couldn't find an image that made me happy, so I decided to focus on the greeting and some colorful Designer Series Paper called Parker's Patterns.
I combined two greeting sets for this card. The first, which is on the large panel, is Memorable Moments. I stamped "nephew" in the bottom right corner with the second stamp set, Family Reunion. Now where can you find a pre-made card that says "Happy 12th Birthday Nephew"? Not anywhere I know! That's one of the things I love about making your own cards, you can totally personalize them.
I've played along with Friday Mashup once this week already, but since I'm making another birthday card with brads, I thought I'd link up again. I hope they don't mind having me twice in one week!
