Recently I converted an alphabet stamp set, which was originally on wood mount blocks, to clear mount. I had lots of these little blocks left over, and was inspired by a post I saw on Pinterest to turn them into ornaments. I made a set of six for my very good friend and best-est stamping buddy as a gift. I think he liked them!
The images are all from the Merry Minis Stamp Set, and were punched with the coordinating Merry Minis Punch Set. The images fit perfectly inside Glimmer Paper cut with a Small Oval Punch. I used Tombo Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere everything, as I find it is the most durable glue for surfaces other than card stock.
Some little eye hooks from the hardware store were screwed into the wood blocks. 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon was wrapped around the entire block like a little present, and finished with a bow on top. Once you get started making these, it's easy to make lots!
