Greetings, Stampers! I have a 3-D project to share with you today, yet a simple one. It's a box which measures 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and is perfect for housing a set of 3" note cards, or a small gift. It's also great for a small piece of jewelry. I'm a little challenged (ok, a lot) when it comes to 3-D projects, but this is an easy project to cut and assemble. I have diagrams with cutting and scoring lines for the same size box on this post. You can decorate it as you wish!
The inspiration for this project was the Friday Mashup challenge which is as follows:
- Make a project using "the inspiration photo".
- Or Make a "Gift project".
- Or "Mash it Up" and create a "project for a gift using the inspiration photo above"
So, I "mashed it up" this week and made a project for a gift using shades of blue and silver, and snowflakes! I had no marabou feathers though, darn!
Two products take center stage here: the Silver Glimmer Paper and the Snow Flurry Bigz Die. I don't know which is more gorgeous! I realize I always say this, but the Silver Glimmer Paper is so much more sparkly in person! On top of that is a circle cut from Festival of Prints DSP. I cut the snowflakes out of Very Vanilla Card Stock and layered them with Dimensionals. Some Pearls in varying sizes add the finishing touch.
