A Primrose Pachyderm for Freshly Made Sketches

Greetings, Stampers! Are you all ready for your New Year's Eve celebration? I'll be home having a small get together with family and some neighbors. While I'll be nice and cozy at home,  my (adult) kids will be partying all over Manhattan, one of them in Times Square. That is so not for me! I know they'll have a great time, but Mom will be happy when they get home safe and sound.

Enough small talk... Today's project features a stamp set that can be earned for free during  the Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration promotion, which begins on January 22. It's called Patterned Occasions, and it's a set of five stamps, each of which includes a greeting for a different occasion. I'm especially fond of the elephant, who I decided needed to be pink today! The designer paper, from the Print Poetry stack, is also new and will be available January 3 in the Spring Catalog.

I love this simple sketch from Tui at Freshly Made Sketches. Perfect for my Pachyderm!

For my focal image, first I used Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple markers to ink the greeting and flower, and stamped that. Then I stamped the elephant and the ear separately onto scrap paper with Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit Ink Pads, and cut them out by hand. I used a 2 1/3" Circle Punch to cut the circle, and layered the elephant on top with Dimensionals.
