Greetings, Stampers, and Happy Monday! Did you all have a productive weekend? Get any shopping done? Not me! I spent the weekend getting all my Christmas decorations up, as I wanted to have them completed for my Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack tonight. I can't wait! Last year was so much fun and I hope we have a great time once again.
Some of my retired holiday stamp sets have been calling out to me. They've been feeling neglected, so I brought one of my favorites out today, Bright Hopes. I created this card for three challenges.
This week at Dynamic Duos we were challenged to "bling it on" and add silver to our Midnight Muse project. Great colors together, especially when joined with crisp Whisper White.
Jaydee at The Paper Players provided the perfect sketch. The tree and greeting from my stamp set fit perfectly into the spaces provided.
Last, but not least, is the Less is More Challenge. This week their recipe is Glamour and Glitz, and we were challenged to include something that twinkles, sparkles or shines. What a fun challenge! I think my silver embossed tree was just the ticket, combined with the clean and simple layout.
I had to take a shot of this card at a slight angle so you can see just how gorgeous the silver embossing is. Along the edges of the card and behind the greeting is Brushed Silver Specialty Paper, to add even a little more shine. Of course, I stamped a coordinating envelope, too.
