Moving Forward Dear Friend

Greetings, Stampers! I'm running rather late with my post today. Usually I set my post up the night before, but last night my pillow was calling out to me! So here I am, better late than never. I have a clean and simple card today which features the Moving Forward Stamp Set. Isn't this little bike the cutest?

The color inspiration is by Broni from the Color Throwdown challenge, one I'm playing along with for the first time. I love this combination of bright colors. I felt that the card needed a lot of white space to balance them out and really showcase them and I think I succeeded.

The layout is by Rita from Freshly Made Sketches, perfect to feature this stamp set. Actually, this sketch is perfect for a lot of stamps and I may be using it again soon. I love a clean and simple sketch as it leaves so much room for interpretation.

The Moving Forward Stamp Set is a two step set. Meaning, first you stamp the bike in one color, then you add flowers (or a creature!) in another color with a second stamp. I stamped the bike twice in two different colors so I could cut out and add the basket in a third color. A couple rhinestones embellish the wheels. Though it's hard to tell in the photo, I used the Stripes Embossing Folder for the background layer.
Stampin' Up! Products Used:

Thanks for visiting and I hope everyone has an awesome day!

Ok, that is weird! It would have been even stranger if we had used the same image (and I usually use the tricycle, but decided to be different yesterday). Too bad we didn't use the same sentiment. :) I love your version! What should we do tomorrow? :)

Hi Sandy,

I love your card. The color combination is great, and you are right, it needs a lot of white space to pull it off when you use them together!

Peace, Love & Joy,

So sweet! Love all the little details, like the brads at the center of the wheels and the popped up basket. Thanks for joining us for this week's Color Throwdown.
