Snowflake Soiree One Layer Card

It's that time of year already, when the Christmas Card catalogs start to show up in the mail. I always thumb through them looking for inspiration, and there are always lots of eye catching foil cards. I found one I wanted to case, and this is what I came up with. I kind of like the way it came out!

This is a genuine one-layer card, without even a single strand of ribbon or a pearl. It has so much shine, though, that I don't think it really needs any embellishments. The base of the card is beautiful Brushed Silver Specialty Paper. I used two stamp sets: Snowflake Soiree, plus the little snowflakes from the Confetti Stamp Set.

Everything was stamped in Versamark Ink and heat embossed with either Silver or Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder. Obviously, you can't do both at the same time so I did it in a few steps. I didn't always want all of the snowflakes in the Confetti stamp, so I used a Versamarker to select which snowflakes I wanted in each spot.

Stamp Sets: Snowflake Soiree, Confetti
Card Stock: Brushed Silver Specialty
Ink Pads: Versamark, Versamarker
Tools: Heat Tool
Accessories: Silver and Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powders

I hope you enjoyed today's post and thank your for stopping by!
