Halloween Scrapbook Pages

Greetings, Stampers! The other night I met with my awesome Technique Class, and we created Halloween Home Decor items. We had so much fun! I'll be featuring those projects next week, but today I wanted to show you the pages that my Scrapbook Class will be making later this month. They are Halloween pages that feature the Howlstooth and Scaringbone Designer Series Paper, and stamps from a few different sets.

This is a very simple color scheme, but I love it: Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Tangerine Tango. Those cute little bats in a row were punched with the Bitty Bat Punch. The bad news: that punch is retired. The good news: it is still available on the Stampin' Up Clearance Rack at a discount! Quantities are limited, though, so if you would like to order one, I'd do so soon.

I used the Wicked Cool Stamp Set to stamp the candelabra and spider web inside the circle. The tiny little Boo! on the tag was stamped with the Tiny Tags Stamp Set and punched with the Jewelry Tag Punch. I used a 1/16" Handheld Punch to punch out the little holes along the outside of the scallop circle.

A little bit of shine was added here and there, and one of the places was on the card stock embossed with the Spider Web Embossing Folder. I used Dazzling Details to highlite the web, and then set it aside to dry for a little while, and finished the rest of my pages in the meantime. You can speed that process up a bit by using a heat tool to dry it.

Those cute little bats meet end to end and form a border. Underneath is a little strip of Silver Glimmer Paper which I dyed black with some Basic Black Ink and a Sponge Dauber. You'll want to set the ink with your heat tool, as well, to help it dry.

Tangerine Tango Scallop Dot Ribbon was used to border the bottom of each page. The year was stamped with the Memorable Moments Stamp Set and cut out by hand.

The Happy Halloween greeting is a stamp from the Delighful Dozen Stamp Set. I colored it with markers to get two colors on one stamp. The greeting stands out when it is punched and then framed by two shapes cut out from Framelits.
