Googly Ghouls and Notable Alphabet

Greetings, Stampers! Are you noticing a theme this week? I wanted to promise you a week's worth of Halloween Projects on Monday, but I wasn't sure if I could manage it or not. The week is looking pretty good, though, so here is the third installation. I had fun putting this card together for two challenges.

The Create with Connie and Mary Color Challenge this week is a perfect color combination for a Halloween Project. All three of these colors can also be found in Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper, which is what I used. Don't be fooled by the name, Summer Smooches can be used all year!

The Retro Sketches Sketch Challenge provided me with a perfect layout to line the three colors up. I used circles instead of squares and a bat for the butterfly.

I inked up my new Notable Alphabet set for the first time for this card. I love the font, it's perfect for a creepy project. After stamping the letters, I punched them out and then sponged the edges a little with the coordinating ink.

Stampin' Up! Products Used:
Stamp Sets: Notable Alphabet, Googly Ghouls
Card Stock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Lucky Limeade
Designer Series Paper: Summer Smooches
Ink Pads: Tangerine Tango, Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry
Tools: 1 1/4" Circle and 1 3/8" Circle Punches
Accessories: Rich Razzleberry Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon

Be sure to tune in tomorrow! It's time for the monthly Control Freaks Blog Tour and the theme is Halloween and Fall. I'll have three Halloween Home Decor projects for you that you won't want to miss!

See you then!

Sandy
