Some very good friends of mine just had to put down their beloved dog, Josie. Josie's "dad" is a plumber by trade and took his assistant Josephine with him everywhere he went. They rescued their pup years ago. She was a mixed breed with one blue and one amber eye, and was a sweet animal. I know they will sorely miss her.
My hubby and I wanted to send a little note to express our sympathy. Hubby said: "You're going to make them a card, right?" But when I went into my stamp stash, lo and behold there was not a single stamp with a dog on it. How can that be? I'll have to address that situation, pronto. My awesome friend and neighbor came to the rescue with this long retired Stampin' Up set, Ruff Day. How awesome is it to have neighbors who stamp? Thanks, D!
The how-to's: I stamped the focal image in Black Stazon Ink and colored it in with ink pads and an Aqua Painter. I wanted to isolate the bone off another stamp, so I colored it with a marker, then used the same marker to spritz with the Color Spritzer.
