Googly Ghouls and MOJO253

This first thing that I had to have in the Stampin' Up 2012 Holiday Catalog was the Ghoulish Googlies Bundle. I just love the cute / scary images and the adhesive backed Googlie Eyes are  awesome! I also think that it is one of the best buys in the catalog. Read more about this bundle at the bottom of this post. First, I want to tell you a little more about this project.

The inspiration for this card was this week's Mojo Monday sketch. The layout was just perfect to showcase several of the patterns in the Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP, and had just the place for the focal image, the cute little witch.

The Tangerine Tango background layer was embossed with the Spider Web Embossing Folder. The little witch was embossed with Versamark Ink and Black Embossing Powder for a rich, deep black. She was colored a little with Ink Pads and a Blender Pen, cut out, and then popped up with a few Dimensionals. The "Boo" greeting was also heat embossed, then adorned with those adorable Googlies!

Hi Sandy - I used that new set for my card too - great minds think alike I guess - lol! I love the spider web background and the way you fussy cut your little witch.
