Creative Elements and Best Wishes

Greetings, Stampers! Here I am yet again with a project made for two challenges. I never tire of playing along with challenges and I hope you never tire of looking at them!

The first challenge is a fun one from Dynamic Duos: Black Tie Week with River Rock and Brads. I love working with neutrals, and really like the desert option: brads. I used my brads in the centers of my flowers.

Pals Paper Arts has a sketch challenge this week, and it's a layout for a square card. I don't do square cards very often as I don't want the hassle of extra postage, but as this was going to be a special card for a special occasion, I thought I'd splurge!

The focal image from the Creative Elements Stamp Set was stamped on River Rock Card Stock with Black Stazon Ink. I used a River Rock Marker to color in the leaves for a tone on tone effect. The little flowers were made with a punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. I adhered them with a little dot of Tombo Multi Adhesive, then used my Paper Piercing Tool to make a small hole through both layers so the flowers would be firmly attached by the brads.
