SSC263 and Fun Flowers

This bright, clean and simple card in primary colors was simple to construct. The focal point is a blossom cut with the Fun Flowers Die. The white background was embossed with the Stripes Embossing Folder, but I left an area un-embossed at the bottom to stamp my greeting.

The base of this card came from a project I started weeks ago that I never completed. Do you have a pile of unfinished bits and pieces, too? Eventually, all those unused parts find a purpose.   When I saw this sketch from Stamping 411 I knew my card was already half done. I love when that happens!

Four layers were cut using the Fun Flowers Die, and then crumpled a little. This gives each layer of the blossom a little volume, and helps it stand out from the others. The layers were attached to one another using Snail Adhesive. The entire blossom was attached using Glue Dots, as was the button on top.
