Greetings, Stampers! I've had this project sitting on my desk for a couple of days and decided to get my 'Crafter's ADD' under control and finish it. I got it all done, picked it up to look at it, and realized it was upside down! (Card opened the wrong way). I guess I got a handle on the ADD but not the Dyslexia! Thankfully, the Cherry Cobbler layer was cooperative and allowed me to take off the entire top section and flip it over. Phew!
I combined two challenges today, the first being the Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge. I followed Lisa's lead and turned the design on it's side to allow for a greeting at the bottom.
The second challenge is the Pals Paper Arts color challenge. I love these colors together!
I used the Reason to Smile stamp set for this card, which is a two step set. In this case, actually three. First I stamped the Daffodil Delight step with the solid flower, then I stamped the outline with Early Espresso Ink. Finally, the center was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. I wanted the center to have a little bit more of a solid appearance, so I went over the stamped area with a Blender Pen.
