Today's project features two stamp sets and two challenges. The top layer uses the collage technique, which is basically just layering lots of images on top of one another. I love this technique as it allows you to be random. Nothing needs to be perfectly lined up and there are no mistakes. That's my kind of technique!
The awesome layout was designed by Carole Burrage for this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I like the asymmetrical layout and I'm sure to be using this sketch again.
The color inspiration came from The Paper Players color challenge. What summery, citrusy colors! I love them!
I cut a piece of Calypso Coral Card Stock 4" x 5 1/4" for the background layer. On two opposite corners, I attached a rectangle of Floral District Designer Series Paper. I ran the entire panel through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder to give it a cohesive appearance.
