Nature Walk for CQC146

Greetings, Stampers! I have a project to share with you today that features the Nature Walk Stamp Set and En Francais Background Stamp, a combination I love together. When I began this card, I wasn't sure where it was going to take me as I started from the bottom up.

The ColourQ Challenge colors called out Country French to me, so I was sure I wanted to use my En Francais background stamp. Some DSP from the Twitterpated pack seem to coordinate nicely and brought in the Pear color.

The Whisper White layer was cut with the Apothecary Accents Framelit. I colored the flowers and leaves on my stamp with markers. After stamping the first time, I stamped a second time without re-inking to achieve a slightly lighter tone.  The black background was pierced with the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack, which coordinates with the Framelits. After piercing this layer I cut it out by hand with my Paper Snips.

The Crumb Cake background was stamped in Versamark Ink and then heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I love the glossy script! I finished the card off with some Basic Black Brads and Real Red Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.
