MOJO248 and Patriotic Owl

Happy Independence Day, everyone! Here in New York it is raining today, not much of a day for parades or fireworks. However, it's a perfect day to stamp! I have great fun making owl punch cards, and this one is no exception. Mr. Owl is feeling very patriotic today, and sporting his American flag. I had to search high and low to find these cute little flags on toothpicks, and finally found them in my local party store. Now, what to do with the other 119 of them? I guess I better start baking cupcakes!

The layout for this card was inspired by this week's Mojo Monday sketch. It was just the perfect layout for this card.

I used the new Memorable Moments Stamp Set for both the greeting and the stamped outline around it. I thought that the large flower image in the Betsy's Blossoms Stamp Set looked kind of like a firework explosion, so I used that as a background stamp.
