Old and new, red, white and blue... That was my theme creating these patriotic scrapbook pages for my June 2012 Scrapbook Class. I combined some brand new products from the newly released Stampin Up Annual Catalog with some retired goodies I had in my stash.
I hope that Pals Paper Arts will allow me some "creative license" because I used a shade of blue different from that in their challenge. I substituted Pacific Point as I wanted to use the Bright Stack Designer Paper, and also the pretty new Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.
Brand new products used in this project are the Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon I already mentioned, and the fabulous new Typeset Alphabet Bigz Dies. Some oldies but goodies include the Stars Brads on the bottom of the left hand page...
...as well as the Land of the Free Stamp on the bottom of the right hand page. Also retired is the Stars Die used for the background. I cut a stencil using the die, and then sponged inside it with a Sponge Dauber and Real Red Ink.
The fun banner was made using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch. All of the different papers used are included in the Brights Stack Designer Series Paper.
