My Friend and PP93

Greetings, all! Last night I was having fun playing with a stamp set that is new to my collection, My Friend. I'm so excited to have this set and see so many different techniques that can be done with it. The technique I used for this project is Shadowing, stamping the same image twice, once in lighter color and off-center, to create a shadow effect.

The challenge at The Paper Players this week is Anything Goes - Tic Tac Toe. What fun!! This project could actually have gone in more than one direction, but let's say that my three in a row is: Dry or Wet Emboss, Your Choice: Brads, and Yellow and Green.

The cute little flowers were punched with a punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. I curled up the edges a bit and adhered them with Tombo Mono Adhesive. After letting them dry for a few minutes, I used a Paper Piercing Tool to punch a little opening, then inserted the brads.

Stampin' Up! Products Used:

Ink Pads: Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Always Artichoke
