Greetings, Stampers! Today I have a special project to share with you. It is a card holder with four note cards featuring Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper. The card holder and cards are super easy to put together as no ink, stamps or embellishments were used. Only card stock, Flirtatious Paper, adhesive and a few punches are needed. You can even change the cards up a bit to use whatever punches you have.
This is what the card holder looks like open. It is large enough to hold four standard A2 size cards (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") plus four envelopes. A simple belly band keeps the card holder closed.
All four of the cards are different, and all were designed using Mojo Monday sketches. The first card uses this week's Mojo Monday sketch #243. Click here to visit the Mojo Monday site and see this week's sketch, as well as an archive of all their other sketches.
I wanted to demonstrate how easy it is to create fabulous projects with minimal supplies, so I kept the focus of these cards on the gorgeous paper and matching doilies. The laser cut doilies (two sheets, one in Pumpkin Pie and one in Melon Mambo) are part of the Flirtatious package.
The cards are greeting free, so they will be suitable for any occasion.
This card holder was designed by my very talented fellow demonstrator, Kimberly Morris. You can visit Kimberly's blog by clicking here, and you can download the pattern for making the box here.
