Glimmery Hearts

Greetings, Stampers! Today's project is one that I did with my Technique Class earlier this month, when we learned different ways to use ink refills. These gorgeous sparkly hearts (which are much more sparkly in person!) started out as sheets of Silver Glimmer Paper.

I punched out the heart shapes with a Full Heart Punch. A few drops of ink refill inside the lid of the coordinating ink pad are all that is needed.  Then, I used a sponge dauber to pick up some of the ink and apply it to the glimmer paper, until the desired color is achieved. Finally, set the color with a heat tool (don't skip this step!). Note that every ink color comes out differently, and not always what you expect, so experiment on small scraps. Additionally, the color will become lighter as it dries.
