Summer Smooches Joy Fold Card

I have another project to share with you today that was made with the new Summer Smooches line of products . This is a Joy Fold Card which I made with my technique class last night. I cased this card from one made by a very talented fellow Stampin Up demonstrator. I changed her color scheme up a bit and used the fabulous new Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper. 

A Joy Fold Card is basically a smaller card on top of a larger card that overlaps on the outside. The overlap is held down with a small embellishment of some sort.  In this case, the outside card was cut 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" and scored at 5 1/2" The smaller card was cut 3" x 8" and scored down the center at 4". It's as simple as that! Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool makes assembling  "fancy fold" cards a breeze.
