Up in the Air and Three Challenges

That's right: not one, not two, but three challenges at once! That's a first for me! I combined sketch, color and theme challenges all in one for this sweet birthday card using the Up in the Air Stamp Set.

The layout was provided by the Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge (a new favorite for me).

The color scheme was inspired by the ColorQ Challenge. I love the inspiration picture; what a pretty dress!

The theme at The Paper Players this week is 'Spring has Sprung'. I don't know about you, but when I think Spring I think about pastel colors, birds, flowers and butterflies. That was the inspiration for the stamp set that I used, Up in the Air.

The focal image, as well as the greetings, were stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink. The flowers and leaves were colored in with markers. The centers of the flowers were dabbed with a little Dazzling Details, a product I love. I'm a glitter phobe, but Dazzing Details leaves no mess at all!
