March 2012 Scrapbook Pages

One of my goals for 2012 was to start doing scrapbooking classes. This month I'll be having my first class and these are the pages that I designed. They are 12" x 12" pages and feature products from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.

Two stamp sets were used for these pages, Fresh Vintage (which is a Sale-A-Bration set) and Notes and Details (from the big Idea Book & Catalog). Notes and Details is an absolutely essential stamp set for any scrapbooker, and even features a stamp with lines for journaling.

A few randomly places images were stamped onto the Very Vanilla Card Stock using the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set.

The 'wow' factor on these pages are the fabulous layered and embossed butterflies. First the butterflies were cut using the Beautiful Butterflies Die. Then, they were embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. Finally, stack them up and hold them together using a brad from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack.
