Valentine Love Owl

This little owl never ceases to make me smile. There seems to be unlimited ways for him to express his cuteness! Today he is sporting some red glimmer in honor of Valentines Day.

Such a little piece of Red Glimmer Paper makes such a big impact. At $4.95 for two 12x12 sheets, it really is a great bargain. I wish you could see how sparkly it is in person. The owl's vest has a little sparkle, too. If you have a leftover scrap of Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Paper like I did, this is a perfect use for it. If not, you could substitute the Real Red dots paper from the Brights Stack, or any other red paper.

You know me, I have to make a matching envelope with every card. The 'love' image is from the Outlined Occasions Stamp Set which you can earn for free with a $50 purchase in the current Sale-A-Bration Catalog. I colored in the hearts with a Real Red Ink Pad and a blender pen.

  1. What a great card. I just love that little owl also! I use it all the time. I actually have only made 1 valentine so far, so all of mine will be late. But I figure it's never too late to send a little love.
