PPA128 and Take it to Heart for Hubby

Greetings, Stampers! I looked at the calendar yesterday and realized Valentine's Day is only a week away. Oh, no! How does every holiday sneak up on me like that! Needless to say, I still have cards that need making. This one is for my hubby, and I think he'll appreciate the sophisticated colors and clean lines.

The Pals Paper Arts Challenge this week is to "just add any red!" Easy enough, with Valentine's Day around the corner. My red of choice was Cherry Cobbler, my all-time favorite shade of red.

The heart image from the Take it to Heart Stamp Set was heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder, which adds some great shine. The embossing at the top of the Very Vanilla layer was done with the new Adorning Accents Embossing Folders, which is a set of three for $8.95. You can't beat that deal!

I even heat embossed another heart on the envelope, so the envelope has a little shine, too. Hubby will definitely know who this card is from!

Hi Sandy,
OF COURSE he will be your Valentine! How could he say "no" after receiving such a handsome card? Love the colors and layout. Those little embossing folders are the cutest things ever! Now wouldn't it be great if your hubby snuck into your stamp room and surprised YOU with a handmade card?!
