PP82 and Fresh Vintage Blossoms

It doesn't seem possible that the terms "Vintage" and "Clean and Simple" can go together. However, I think I accomplished a Clean and Simple Vintage card today with this thank you card.  I had intended on adding more layers, but somehow, it thought it looked better left alone.

The inspiration for this card was this week's Paper Players Challenge, which is a color challenge. You know how much I love those!

My fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator (and Control Freak) Dawn Olchefske was kind enough to share a video on how to punch the blossom from the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set with the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch. I had to give it a try, and after a couple of attempts, it came out just perfect! You can check out her video tutorial by clicking here. Thanks, Dawn!

  2. This is very cute (I love things in threes) and I knew this image matched this punch, but I had to resort to punching first and lining the stamp up with my SAMJ!!! Great hint from Dawn, and a lovely CAS vintage card from you! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week!
