Fresh Vintage for The Paper Players

I had some bits and pieces laying around that were originally intended for other projects, and they magically came together (almost by themselves!) resulting in this card. Sometimes the mere process of tidying up can be inspiring!

The layout was inspired by this week's Paper Players sketch challenge. Click on the link to see other beautiful creations made using this sketch.

I used markers to color the stamp for the focal image from the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set. I cut it out with the Extra Large Oval Punch, which fits perfectly inside the Designer Frames embossed image. The designer paper is called Everyday Enchantment. Both of these products are available for free (with a $50 purchase) in the current Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration catalog.

The pretty blossom was made using the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch. I punched three blossoms out of designer paper, then crumpled them up and sponged with Crumb Cake Ink to add a vintage feel. A pearl is the perfect center.

I can't belive this was the result of scraps on your desk!!! WOW! Your coloring job is so beautiful that it looks just like the dsp! I love that floral image stamped in the embossed frame and the sponging on the embossed background is gorgeous! Thank you for playing along with us at the Paper Players!
