Up, Up & Away and Twitterpated

One of the things I love about Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper is it's versatility. Take for instance the Twitterpated D.S.P. I used today. There are plenty of delicate, flowery patterns in this package, but also some stripes and geometric patterns more suitable for masculine cards. I thought the colors and patterns I used today worked well with the hot air balloons for a boy's birthday card.

For the focal image, the greeting and clouds were stamped directly on to Whisper White Card Stock. The hot air balloons were stamped on another piece of card stock, cut out by hand, and adhered over the clouds. The balloons were popped up with a couple of Dimensionals.
