Simply Soft for The Paper Players

This card was designed for The Paper Players Color Challenge. I love color challenges! The hardest part of designing a card, picking out the colors, has been done for you, and what pretty colors these are. I love pinks and greens together; it's such a soft and delicate combination.

You can visit The Paper Players site to see other beautiful creations using this color combination by clicking here. Better yet, why don't you play along? It's fun!

I colored the flowers with markers using the layered marker technique. The Simply Soft Stamp Set is perfect for this technique. You can read more about it by visiting this post

The pretty edge was done using the new Adorning Accents Edgelits and Embossing Folders. Tip: Emboss first and cut with the Edgelit second. It's easier to get them perfectly lined up that way. Second Tip: Keep the Edgelit in place with a Post-it note before running through the Big Shot. It will stay nicely in place and the Post-it peels right off.
