Northern Flurry in Bashful Blue

Are you working on your Holiday cards yet? It's that time! I decided to re-do a card I made last year with current Stampin' Up! products. This card is one of my holiday favorites, and is perfect for those of you who shy away from red and green (you know who you are!). The colors are subtle, but there is plenty of shine thanks to two kinds of embossing, brushed silver paper, and rhinestones.

This card is a quickie, and can be assembled in four easy steps:
  1. Dry emboss the top layer using the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.
  2. Heat emboss the greeting with Silver Embossing Powder.
  3. Using a sponge dauber, gently sponge the embossed snowflakes and the edges with White Craft Ink. You should set your project aside to dry for a few hours now, or overnight, as the craft ink takes a little while to dry thoroughly.
  4. Assemble the three layers and add a few rhinestones.
Simple, don't you think? This is a great card to mass produce and also easy to mail.
