Faux Silk Just Believe

Good morning Stampers and Happy Monday! Can someone please tell me where the weekend went? It's all just a blur... So much undone on my to-do list. But as you know, I always make time for some stamping! It truly is therapy after a crazy day. Today's project is a card I designed for my technique class. We used tissue paper techniques, and Faux Silk is one of them.

The Faux Silk technique is a simple technique to do as all you need are a stamp, ink, white card stock and tissue paper. This technique works best with bolder images. First, stamp your image on to a piece of tissue paper. For this example, markers were used to ink the stamp in multiple colors. After the ink dries, gently crinkle the tissue paper and then flatten it back out. Completely cover the whisper white card stock with glue, using a glue stick. Adhere the tissue paper to the card stock and trim the excess.
