Beautiful Season and Frostwood Lodge

I don't know why I waited so long to order the Frostwood Lodge Designer Paper, it's so beautiful! The simple plaid patterns work well with just about any holiday stamp set. I particularly like it combined with the Beautiful Season Stamp Set, as I did today in this clean and simple card.

I layered two pieces of card stock cut with the Top Note Die. The Naturals Ivory layer was trimmed at the perforations, and then the edges smoothed with a Sanding Block. The berries have some pretty sparkle to them thanks to a little Dazzling Details. Naturals Ivory makes a good base to water color with an Aqua Painter, as it is a heavier card stock than Vanilla or White.

  1. I love the plaid with this stamp! I didn't realize that the naturals ivory would also work well for watercoloring, good to know that! Beautiful card!
