Pumpkin Owl

Happy Labor Day, everyone! I hope you all have a chance to some well deserved time off today, and maybe a little time to craft! With the summer months officially behind us, Autumn is right around the corner and it is time to think about what Stampin' supplies you might need for your autumnal cards. With that in mind, I came up with this cute little owl in a pumpkin costume for Halloween.

The background is Old Olive Card Stock which I stamped with the Netting Background Stamp before running it through the Big Shot with the Spider Web Embossing Folder. The owl is perched on a little branch using the Little Leaves Sizzlit Die.  I used several punches to create the cute owl and his costume. The owl was punched with the Owl Builder Punch, the wings with the Scallop Circle Punch and the cap with the 1" Circle Punch. For the body of the pumpkin, I used the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and then layered the body section of the Owl Punch over it to create a guide for where to trim the circle. I just love this little owl! I'll be dressing him up for every holiday to come, for sure.
