PPA110 and A Creepy Pair



As promised, I have a two-fer for you today, a candle plus a coordinating card. I know I have shown you quite a few Halloween goodies over the last week or so, and I was going to change things up a bit. However, my friends at Pals Paper Arts gave a Halloween challenge this week, and who am I to turn down a challenge!


The candle is a simple 6" pillar candle which you can find just about anywhere. I wrapped it with  Basic Black Card Stock.  Over that, I wrapped some Brights Designer Series Paper in Old Olive which I stamped with spiders from the Scaredy Cat Stamp Set. A piece of Satin Ribbon in Basic Black adds some shine, and a few Tiny Tags (one with a Boo!) add some extra interest.


The candle was the inspiration for the card. The color scheme and stamp set remain the same. This time, though, I heat embossed the Happy Halloween greeting with black embossing powder and added a little white ghost and a rhinestone jewel.


The card and candle together would make a great gift and can be assembled in a jiffy. What a cute but creepy pair!
