CCMC168 and Flower Garden

I tried and tried in vain to get this card posted yesterday. I'm not pleased when life's little interruptions get in the way of my stamping time. How rude! Anyway, so here is my post a day later. This card is for this week's Create with Connie & Mary Sketch Challenge.

I decided to put away the autumnal colors and come up with something a little more feminine for my niece's birthday. The colors in the Flirtatious Designer Series Paper became my color scheme of Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight and Wisteria Wonder.

I used the Flower Garden Embossing Folder to make the embossed image. Then, I turned it over and water colored the de-bossed side with ink pads and an Aqua Painter. The outer area was softened a little with Some Wisteria Wonder Ink and a Sponge Dauber.
